There's been lots of discussion as to the best way to control the political election process, with financial giving and how it's all handled. My thought is that we shouldn't limit how much someone gives, but we should make political donations extremely transparent. That way, should a politician vote in a certain way, anyone would have the resources to see if finances had anything to do with that vote.
I think this online lookup is a great attempt at that transparency. Financial givers to the May Kentucky primaries are listed.
One might complain that it took 3 months to get this out there. However, at least it's a start in the right direction.
