American Body Count

As Texas Rainmaker points out, this is the anniversary of the Supreme Court Roe vs. Wade decision.  The 34th to be exact.

During this time, consider the numbers that we've lost: 46,000,000 per year.  Or 15,333 times the number of troops we have lost in Iraq (3,000).  Each year.  Since 1974.  We lose 3,000 of our population every 35 minutes.

As important as each of the men and women in the military are, so are each of the 46 million.

Update:  I've been corrected on my choice of wording above.  The number of 46,000,000 is world wide, not just the U.S.  The U.S. totals are 1.37 million.  Still huge.  Which amounts to 3,000 every 16.5 hours or so.  Still less than a day for 3,000 deaths.  Not quite the loss we've had in Iraq.
