Quote of the Day

“Mississippi gets more than their fair share back in federal money, but who the hell wants to live in Mississippi?” - Charlie Rangel, democrat representative from New York.

Let a liberal talk long enough, and their true thoughts eventually come out.  This quote was buried in a New York Times article on how powerful New York politicians are becoming in the new Congress.  More comments like these and New York won't be able to brag for very long.

I wrote about this as well on my blog. I was born and reared in Mississippi and although I escaped and now live in Florida, I took great umbrage at Rangel's comment. I have many family, inlaws and friends across that great state and Rangel can kiss our collective a.........
