Unhinged At Crosses Part 2
Some days, I wish I could blog from work. On those days, I'd like to be a little more current in my posting.
Michelle Malkin has continued to keep up with a story occurring here in Kentucky. That of Northern Kentucky University's Sally Jacobsen, the professor who destroyed the on campus crosses placed there by students.
The Northern Right to Life group is pressing charges over the destruction of their property. As a Kentucky tax payer, I'm hoping for any of the following to take place:
1) (HT: Texas Rainmaker) The NKU policy manual states that:
C 7.4
Misconduct
A staff member who conducts himself in a manner that reflects unfavorably upon the University, the department, and himself will be subject to immediate discharge, without advance notice and without further pay...
This section then lists some pretty serious stuff, that although not directly stating this instance, I think this would suffice to fufill that section. I hope she is fired, even if she just has a few weeks before retirement.
2) I'm not sure what pension options are available, but I wonder if there is a penalty associated. Military personnel receive similar punishments, like a drop in rank prior to retirement with the associated drop in pension benefits.
3) Lifenews.com ends their story on this with this:
With Northern Right to Life pressing charges, a felony won't be a nice thing to have on a record.
