What We Fought For?

Today in Afghanistan there is a man arrested and possibly facing the death penalty for converting from Islam to Christianity.  According to the new Afghan constitution, minority religions are protected.  However, the constitution subjects all Muslims to Islamic law.  Under this Islamic law, a convert from Islam can be put to death.

My concern is that we fought in Afghanistan to remove the Taliban.  In respect to this decision, it's as tho the Taliban are still in power.
