Ports and Bush

So much has already been said by so many, that what few words I have will be a drop in a real large bucket.

I find myself leaning against President Bush on this one.  Yes, I understand his point that we're not talking security, just port operations.  However, how does a "mole" sneak in but simply understanding the operations of the place he's sneaking into.  Who best to tell them about the operation but the folks running it.  We need folks we trust running the ports.

Another point brought up by some folks is the fear the democrats have on profiling passengers.  This time around, they are profiling companies.  Can't have it both ways, now can we?

One hint we're going down the wrong path:  Jimmy Carter agrees with Bush on the port idea.

Just a few of the others commenting:  Michelle Malkin, Outside the Beltway, Generation Why?, Instapundit, Little Green Footballs, Polipundit (Lorrie Byrd).
