No one in the baby boomer generation was around 64 years ago to remember Pearl Harbor. Some veterans are worried that FDR might be wrong when he stated that December 7, 1941 was a "date which will live in infamy".
Not so for some of us. We've lived through a second day of infamy with September 11, 2001. We're proud of our parent's and grandparent's generation who deserved Tom Brokaw's designation of "The Greatest Generation". Their fight and victory against true Facism leaves us today in the most free and prosperous country the world has seen.
