A lot's been said today around the blogs concerning the Republican vote yesterday behind the 79-18 vote on the so called Warner Amendment. This amendment is requiring public (to the Senate) reports on detailing the military's progress on bringing the troops home. Excuse me, anyone want to announce to the likes of Al-Qaeda what our troops are doing? Sounds like suicide to me.
Fantasic reporting on this out in the blogosphere:

Radio Blogger's transcripts of Hugh's interviews (check posts under Wednesday, November 16.)
Michelle Malkin (Lorie Byrd writing).

Also, from a local Louisville perspective, a very well written opinion from ConservaChick. She has posted at her site all the Republican Yea (41) and No (13) voters on the Warner Amendment. Kentucky has been well represented by only Senator Jim Bunning. Thank you for your no vote. Kentuckians can send their thank you's to Senator Bunning, and their notices of disappointment to Senator Mitch McConnell.
