Murtha Voted Against Resolution

Murtha's "cut and run" resolution goes down 403 - 3, with 6 democrats voting "present".  The roll call of the vote itself shows some curious information:

1) 3 Yes votes, those being Democrats Cynthia A. McKinney of Georgia, Robert Wexler of Florida and Jose E. Serrano of New York.
2) 6 voted "present", those being Democrats Michael E Capuano of Massachusetts, William "Lacy" Clay of Missouri, Maurice Hinchey of New York, Jim McDermott of Washington, Jerrold Nadler of New York, and Major Owens of New York.
3) Anne Northup (R-Louisville) was not present to vote.
4) Finally, and REAL interesting, John Murtha himself VOTED AGAINST THE RESOLUTION.

So, we have 6 spineless Democrats, 3 Democrats against the troops, and a Democrat who doesn's "walk the talk" and goes against what he preaches on the floor.  Who cut and run here?  Hmmmmmm.

Also, I like Hugh Hewitt's take on this:

Many Democrats were emotionally undone by the exercise of having to confront their own rhetoric, and the anti-war left must be stunned this morning: Only three votes? All that work? All those marches? All those posts at the fever swamp bulletin board? For three votes?

Lot's of marches for nothing, huh?
