Dr. Death Requesting Pardon...

due to the fact that he may die in prison before his parole eligibility in 2007.  According to Fox News, he is suffering from, among other things, high blood pressure, arthritis, cataracts, osteoporosis and Hepatitis C.

I admit, this request finds me with little patience for it.  Considering he thought very little of over 100 other people's lives, why the sudden value over his own life?

Actually, his life is of value, regardless of anyone's opinion (including mine).  The over-riding issue is the message this pardon, if approved, would send.  World Magazine put it as both a reprieve of the penalty and an implied forgiveness of the crime.  A very bad message to send.
