09/20/2005 Miscellanous

Hell Freezes Over.  So posts Carol Platt Liebau, and I would agree.  Who woulda thought the LA Times would ENDORSE John Roberts.  And strongly, if the first few lines of their column are any indication.  It also looks like the Washington post is endorsing Roberts as well.

The New York Times is cutting 500 jobs.  Ouch.  (HT: Instapundit and Mark in Mexico).

Michelle Malkin is real bugged by the appointment of a crony at the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency.  So is Matt at Stones Cry Out.  Actually, so am I.  However, I can't go as far at Matt, in considering sitting out the next election.  I confess, most of the time it's still the choice between bad or worse, instead of good and bad.  I'm just not sure sometimes if I can take worse over bad.
